2. Yom Kippur, Sep 28, 2020, Day of Atonement

​Believers will know when Jesus is at the door [Mark 13:29] because we are not in darkness. Revelation 3:3 and 1 Thessalonians 5:4 explains: "IF therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee." ... =>

<= "But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief."

Rosh Hashanah is the day known when the new moon is sighted --- not known until per Matthew 24:42.
 
Currently in 2020, the 29 Days of Elul started August 21, 2020 and continue until the Feast of Trumpets that begins on Friday, September 18, 2020.
​Following Elul are ten Days of Awe when it is believed the gate of heaven is uniquely open for our petitions and intercession. This season climaxes on the Day of Atonement called Yom Kippur on September 27th, 2020.

Per my understanding of God’s holy word, the wrath of God [aka day of the Lord’s indignation]
Isaiah 26:20 will be 117 days from the anniversary date Noah boarded the ark Genesis 7:6 on Sep 11, 2020 until Yom Kippur. This will be the beginning of 40 days of massive natural disasters by volcanic fire and smoke that blots out the light of the sun and moon; this time frame parallels =>

​If the rapture occurs this year during Rosh Hashanah, it will fulfill one of the final three Jewish holidays. Yom Kippur follows when the books of judgment are opened. Revelation 1:7; Zechariah 14:4; Exodus 32:1-35
