Proof Jesus is God: Reason #8 and #9#8 - Jesus is Worshiped When Jesus is led in the desert and tempted by satan Jesus said as recorded in scripture [Matthew 4:10] telling satan that worship belongs to the Lord God. There are many scriptures in the Holy Bible where people fall down and worship Jesus Christ. Did Jesus contradict Himself? Did He stop believing the very scripture He quoted and change His mind to allow people to worship Him? Because He didn't tell them to stop. Unlike Peter who told Cornelius in Acts 10:25-26 not to worship him as he is but a man. And in Rev 19:10, 22:8-9 the angel told John not to worship him as he's but a servant. The book of Revelation shows this more clearly, Jesus is worshiped by all of the heavens! Rev 22:3,4-5 summarizes the grand majesty of the Lamb [Messiah & King Jesus] sitting on the throne of God where all nations and peoples will worship Him. Matt. 2:2,11; 14:33; 28:9, 28:17; Luke 24:52; John 9:37-38; Acts 13:2 Heb. 1:6; Rev 4:10-11, 5:9-10,11-12,13-14, 15:3-4 www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Acts+10%3A25-26&version=KJV #9 - Jesus is the only one who is called Good
Jesus at one point says “Only God is Good” then later says He is the “Good Shepherd.” In Luke 18:19 "Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God." Jesus did not say: “don’t call Me good” or “stop calling Me good” or “I am not good.” We may have interpreted it that way, but that's not what it says. Jesus asked him question: “why do you do it?” Jesus made an inquiry that was intended to cause him to think about his statement and its natural conclusion. The guy called Jesus merely a human teacher, but he also used this in conjunction with the word ‘Good.’ When Jesus says “Why did you call me good” if “only God is good” he basically tells this rich young ruler that calling someone Good is the same as calling him God, and this guy did call Jesus Good and thus also called him God. He is the Good shepherd, [John 10:11] and as Jesus Himself said, only God is Good.
