The Senate Judiciary Committee Voted 11-10 to advance the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh. The full Senate could vote as soon as Saturday to proceed with Kavanaugh’s nomination, and a final vote may come next week.
It was unclear, however, whether that timeline would hold as President Trump has asked FBI to reopen FBI investigation on Brett Kavanaugh's background. Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) sought a one-week delay in the full Senate’s vote. Senate Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) determines the vote schedule.

Brett Kavanaugh team submits 1982 calendar to Senate ...
Sep 26, 2018 · The legal team for Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh submitted five pages from the detailed calendar he kept in the summer of 1982 to the Senate Judiciary Committee, ahead of the hearing. The pages prove Kavanaugh wasn't at a 1982 house party that Dr Ford claims Brett assaulted her.

9-27-18, Watching the debacle on TV of the questioning by Senate members of the woman who accuses Brett Kavanaugh - Christine Blasey Ford. Her information is so sketchy; it is such a travesty of justice to even consider her credible. Sickening. You can see it live here

​Dr Ford Has a PhD – her letter to Senator Feinstein has many grammatical flaws; it couldn’t be written by person with her education and training. [I thought Dr Ford testified that she hand-wrote the letter and apologized for the poor penmanship. However, I could not find an image of it or her comment in transcripts. -- Annette]
 
9-27-18, Dr. Danielle (Dossy) Blumenthal PhD [with focus on creative writing] has dissected and refuted the letter* provided by Senator Feinstein from Judge Kavanaugh’s accuser, Dr Christine Blasey Ford via Twitter*. This is not to offend people who don’t have good English skills or who are struggling to learn. My report is only to point out that the letter does not reflect someone of Dr. Ford’s professional rank. Her letter is full of flaws; it’s not from someone who has been published in journals – no way. My professional opinion is based on 2.5 years of being responsible for constituent letters from Congress; I have scanned, read, reviewed, routed and responded to hundreds of them. It’s been my experience that private citizens generally use their best English writing skills in communicating to Congress. Dr. Ford has a Stanford pedigree is a PhD; the letter is sloppy - my findings follow:

1. First line ‘evaluating’ is misspelled
2. Second line ‘high school’ is capitalized when it shouldn’t be
3. Fifth line she used the pronoun ‘me’ before ‘4 others’ – she should have said ‘included four others and me.’
4. Dr. Ford wrote ‘in the early 1980’s’ – wrong grammar, should be ‘1980s’ no apostrophe before the ‘s’
5. Emotional constituents are usually hyper-specific about their complaints — never vague. Logically, that is why they are writing to Congress: to remedy a wrong that is clear to them, but not others. Dr Ford is not.
6. It’s odd that Judge Kavanaugh’s name is not in the first line – why? She would have said: ‘I am writing to express my concerns about Judge Brett Kavanaugh.’
7. Why did Dr. Ford say she hasn’t ‘knowingly’ seen Kavanaugh since? What does ‘knowingly’ refer to?
8. Dr. Ford says ‘they’ locked the door – which one – both?
9. Dr. Ford writes ‘very drunken’ – poor English again – should be ‘very drunk’
10. Uneducated grammar errors interspersed with flowery text: ‘The two scrapped with each other,’  ‘take this opportune moment,’ ‘disrobe me,’ ‘weight on me was substantial’
11. Dr. Ford calls psychotherapy as medical treatment – why?
12. The letter refers to the same bathroom twice making it sound like two different bathrooms.
13. If she is married and published under her married name, why is she using her maiden name? Why does Dr. Ford not refer to herself as Dr.?
14. Where is her return address? Where is Feinstein’s address? Senator Eshoo’s?
15. Dr. Ford shifts tense in two sentences she said: ‘It is upsetting’ (present tense) but ‘I felt’ (past tense). She notified her ‘government representative’ (singular) … then changes to pronoun ‘them’ (plural) – this is not professional.

Senator Grassley reported that the other two women who have accused Judge Kavanaugh, have not responded to requests to hear their testimony - their media reports are clearly not trustworthy.
