Did $130,000 Stormy Daniels payoff violate campaign finance?
Pres Trump did NOT violate campaign finance law
12-11-18, Federal prosecutors allege Pres Trump violated campaign finance law – but in fact, he didn't. [The two accusers are Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal] Prosecutors must prove he paid the women specifically in order to help Trump's chances of beating Hillary Clinton in the Presidential election – not merely to help preserve his marriage or his business reputation. President Trump told “Fox & Friends,” in August 2018, the payments weren’t illegal because “they came from me,” rather than his presidential campaign.
FLASHBACK: Remember When Obama Campaign Was Fined $375,000
According to the Politico in 2008 the Obama presidential campaign was fined $375,000. by the Federal Election Commission for campaign reporting violations — one of the largest fees ever levied against a presidential campaign.
5-8-12, Yahoo News: A pattern of fraud in the Obama campaign’s fundraising system should damage the campaign’s trustworthiness, said Newman. “The one thing you have is trust when doing online business… [and] if you have someone collecting credit-card information, you are totally responsible” for its security. At the moment, he added, “this smells like a Nigerian bank-account scam.” More here
Note: I am not condoning sexual misconduct. You'd think the outcry about Bill Clinton's adulterous behaviors IN THE WHITE HOUSE that were defended by the Democrats as personal and none of our business, would apply to years old bad behaviors by private citizen Donald Trump. The Trump haters are trying to hang a campaign violation on him ... Clearly there is a double outrageous standard. Donald Trump is a businessman and now politician ... he's not the pastor of our local church. -- Annette
