4-25-18, On Wednesday, Kanye West spoke out about Pres Trump and wrote on Twitter:"You don't have to agree with trump, but the mob can't make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don't agree with everything anyone does. That's what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought." — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) These Are The 5 Worst-Run Major American Cities Run By Democrats Jan 10, 2017 - Daily Wire -- It's no surprise that America's metropolitan centers are run predominately by Democrats.Democratic city councilmembers, Democratic mayors, ... *** 5-2-18, Herman Cain said about Kanye West: I want to amplify and illuminate some of his [Kanye West's] words from recent days, especially the ones he uttered on the now-exploding video from his discussion in the TMZ newsroom yesterday. Slavery Is A Choice" Kanye West FULL 30 Minute Interview on TMZ Live - The full interview of Kanye West on TMZ Live with Harvey Levin where he was repeatedly asked why did he wear the 'MAKE AMERICA GREAT' hat ... The popular media take on this is that Kanye claimed black people made a choice to be subjected to slavery. That is not what he said, but as is typical, people are too busy venting their outrage with him to really hear what he’s trying to tell them. If they would listen, they would realize the message is empowering, and I know that because it’s the same message I’ve lived by throughout my adult life. What he’s talking about is the mindset that persists to this day, one of victimhood and “struggle.” It’s one that still thinks, even after all these years, that everyone is out to get us, kill us, keep us down and marginalize us. If you work hard, finish school, get a job, work well with others, dress nice, use the language well . . . you’re “acting white.” And what good does it do us to not do these things? We’re showing Whitey he can’t tell us how to be, I suppose, but are we really making our own situations any better? Look, if you want to do the whole rebel thing, I’m not your dad. Do what you want and prepare for the results. But don’t let anyone tell you that you have to act a certain way, and only that way, or you won’t be “authentically black.” Every other group of people celebrates its free spirits and nonconformists, but black people come down on theirs as if they’re guilty of the highest form of apostasy. How is that not also a form of slavery? It may not be the shackles and chains, but it’s an intellectual and emotional slavery that demands complete submission to an orthodoxy. When I was coming up through the ranks in my business career, I was well aware of the history of racial discrimination in this country. I knew it had not been completely eradicated. And yes, I experienced some. But here’s how I chose to look at it: Everyone who pursues a goal will have some things to overcome. More here and More here Comments are closed.
