4-9-18, Athough there are many reports that Assad is being ‘framed,’ it's controversial. Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro is the nucleus of the horror in the Middle East beginning with his 2009 speech in Cairo. Although, we must also consider all this is a fulfillment of God’s prophecy of the Islamic nation coalition in Ezekiel 38:2-6; the following article explains. -- Annette

10-21-12, Ian Black, Middle East editor, Guardian* -- Only six months in office, on 4 June 2009 Pres Barack Obama appeared at Cairo University delivering a speech promising to seek "a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world".
Obama sought to move beyond the toxic legacy of the 9/11 attacks, the US-led invasion of Iraq, the "war on terror" and the long and occasionally bloody impasse on the Palestinian issue. Expectations were enormous. Even at the time it was hard to imagine that this young African-American president with Muslim roots could meet them all.
Obama had opposed George Bush on Iraq and chided him for not doing enough to promote a just peace for the Palestinians [Muslims in Israel-Ed.] Now, as the end of his term nears, we see an extraordinary chain of unforeseen events – a hazard for any leader – has created new circumstances and new dilemmas:
Eighteen months after Obama’s Cairo speech, the uprisings of the Arab spring began in Dec 2010. From the short and mostly peaceful revolution in Tunisia, murder of Gaddafi in Libya, imprisonment of Mubarak in Egypt to Syria.
Egypt's revolution provided the first hurdle; Obama was criticized for backing stability as the drama of Tahrir Square unfolded. But on 1 February 2011 came his call for Mubarak to step down "now". As the New York Times wrote: "Obama upended three decades of American relations with its most stalwart ally in the Arab world, putting the weight of the United States squarely on the side of the Arab street."
So when Mohamed Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood leader [supported by Obama-Ed.] who succeeded Mubarak became Egypt's first democratically elected president, visited Washington last month [Sep 2012] – after demonstrations in Cairo and far beyond over a crude Islamophobic film — the tension was as obvious as the change was palpable. [Ambassador Stephens murdered in Benghazi, Libya Sep 11, 2012] The US hope is that engagement, combined with the responsibility of exercising power, will encourage Islamist-led governments toward pragmatism.
Syria, the bloodiest front of the Arab spring, has been the biggest challenge. On Aug 18, 2011, Obama demanded Bashar al-Assad's departure, but resisted pressures to arm the opposition or impose a no-fly zone.
