The Zika Hoax Hits Texas
2-15-16, Jon Rappaport -- I've written a number of articles taking apart the Zika hoax, piece by piece, lie by lie. Here, I want to present an overview.
Is there a true "outbreak" of microcephaly [so called Zika Virus babies born with small heads and brain impairment] in Brazil and has the purported cause been established scientifically?
Is there a surge of microcephaly in Brazil, where the story started?
That depends on who you ask.
The Brazilian health authority, so far, has reported only 404 confirmed cases of microcephaly in the whole country. Not 4,100 cases, as first claimed. [..snip] Furthermore, Zika has been known about since 1947. It has never been considered a health threat. It has been linked to mild transient illness with few symptoms. So, in that regard, it's an absurd candidate for causing microcephaly and brain damage. More here
Texas: Not so fast on those Harris County Zika cases
6-15-17, The southeast Texas health system recently reported the first Harris County cases of Zika in 2017, six then-pregnant women. They have now backed off the claim. The network of clinics where the women were initially tested, announced that after an in-depth review, they found the individuals were infected with something, but not necessarily Zika. More here
