Govt Waste Must Stop: President Trump's Budget Halts Funding to Many Unnecessary Agencies - Saving $3 Billion

3-18-17, NewsMax -- In addition to reducing spending from several large government entities such as the Environmental Protection Agency [EPA] and the State Dept, President Trump's proposed first budget calls to eliminate federal funding for 19 federal agencies, for a total of $3 billion in cuts. Budget says:

"Consistent with President Trump’s approach to move the nation toward fiscal responsibility, his budget eliminates and reduces hundreds of programs and focuses funding to redefine the proper role of the federal government."

The nineteen agencies losing federal funding include:

The African Dev Foundation; the Appalachian Regional Comm; the Chemical Safety Board; the Corp for  Natl and Comm Ser; PBS [big bird]; the Delta Regional Authority; the Denali Comm Institute of Museum and Library; the Inter-Amer Found; the U.S. Trade and Dev Agency; the Legal Serv Corp; the Natl Endowment for the Arts [Jesus in urine outfit]; the Natl Endowment for the Humanities; the neighborhood Reinvestment Corp; the Northern Border Regional Commission; the Overseas Private Investment Corp; the US Institute of Peace; the US Interagency Council on Homelessness ... #19 -  and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
