 Students Walkout in Support of History Teacher, Tim LockeOn Tuesday, 2/23/18, appx 100 students of NEW JERSEY'S CHERRY HILL HIGH SCHOOL marched to support their history teacher, Timothy Locke. Some parents attended the march to support the students. They argue that Locke's only crime was to tell the truth about school safety with youngsters in his Advanced Placement History class. One said, "Instead of honoring a war veteran teacher willing to think outside of the box, the school districts sends him to a shrink. That’s just plumb nuts." The intent of his statement (was that) he would protect his students at all costs. Concerned that, although there are two security guards, they are unarmed. The school district refuses to comment on what was said or why Locke was placed on administrative leave. Upon advise from his attorney, Mr. Locke has stopped talking also. Mr Locke was called into Principal's office, his bag searched, he was suspended and ordered psychological evaluation. More here  Comments are closed.
