California: Super Bowl Party Many Escaped the Inferno as Airplane Falls on House; Four Died Plus Pilot2-3-19, YORBA LINDA, Calif. (KABC) -- On Super Bowl Sunday witnesses say the residents the home set ablaze by a falling 1981 Twin Engine Cessna 414A airplane in Yorba Linda were hosting their annual S-Bowl party at the time of the plane crash. They saw people running from the house screaming for family members they couldn't find. The coroner is in the process of identifying the four deceased victims who's remains are being identified through DNA; two men and two women. Family friend Dan Ugalde Jr said, "Yorba Linda lost four very good people; a tight-knit family." [Thus far, the family haven't been identified]
The Cessna with 75 yr old pilot Antonio Pastini lifted off from Fullerton Municipal Airport shortly after 1:30 p.m. Sunday, 2-3-19, the plane flew about 10 miles gaining 7800 feet elevation before explosion. Witnesses and video reports the plane began to fall apart; dropping parts then dropping like a rock into one home. Officials report the identification that Pastini was a retired Chicago Police Officer is false. More here
