In the late 1980’s the Lord’s shaking of the earth began with earthquakes. A quake in Armenia wiped out almost that entire province. A quake in Japan measuring 6.9 nearly destroyed an entire city. Then came the horrible quake in San Francisco, with more following almost daily in that area. Quakes hit the West Coast constantly, from northern California to San Diego and down into Mexico. [On Mar 11, 2011 Japan had the horrific 9.1 quake and tsunami that destroyed their nuclear plant; causing radiation in the Pacific ocean.
 
In the Old Testament we read in Isaiah 24:1, 11, 13 the prophecy that God will one day shake the earth as if it were an olive tree-till every bit of fruit falls.

"Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty . . . and turneth it upside down. . . All joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone..​. When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree."  
 
The prophet Ezekiel reports that when God's fury arises, He will shake all that can be shaken: "All the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown
down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. . . . And I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord." (Ezekiel 38:20 and 23)
 
The writer of Hebrews [may be Luke] says: "Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. . . . That [only] those things which cannot be shaken may remain" (Hebrews 12:26-27).

Biden’s media declared “victory” seems even more implausible after an audit of his performance in remarkably predictive bellwethers. 

The Wall Street Journal reports that Biden had a nearly perfect record of losses in counties whose election results have presaged presidential winners for decades:

“From 1980 through 2016, 19 of the nation’s more than 3,000 counties voted for the eventual president in every election. Only one … backed President-elect Joe Biden last week.” 

So, a candidate who campaigned from his basement lost 95 percent of these counties yet won the election? Ludicrous.

Suddenly, AP demoted the state to a bit player in presidential politics declaring Biden the winner before all the votes were counted.  As Ohio goes, so goes the nation. Western Journal -- It’s no wonder unborn baby parts are big business among the crowd with questionable ethics — they’re useful for so many things, including creating vaccines for diseases like the novel coronavirus.

hen Planned Parenthood was exposed for selling dead baby body parts in 2015, it seemed like a macabre, hyperbolic parody of the abortion giant, but the fact is that cells from aborted babies have been harvested and used for decades.

According to the Kennedy Institute of Ethics at Georgetown University, existing vaccines for hepatitis A, chickenpox, smallpox, measles, rubella, rabies, poliomyelitis are all made using a cell line from fetuses aborted long ago. The practice has been in place for more than half a century and utilizes several cell lines derived from babies aborted in the 1960s.
The two most commonly used originated from the lung of an unborn girl aborted in 1962 at three months gestation and from the lungs of an unborn boy aborted in 1966 at 14 weeks gestation [MRC-5 on packaging], according to the Kennedy Institute. In both cases, the abortions were elective, according to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. 11-18-20, Valid numbers of world’s Covid deaths is difficult to ascertain as many reports include deaths by other causes IF the victim just had Covid, but it wasn’t the ‘cause’ of death.

Also, testing rates for the virus may vary between jurisdictions many are doubtful of the valid number of those infected. There have been disagreements between authorities on how deaths should even be tallied in the first place.

​How many lives will be damaged or lost due to lock downs causing poverty and economic collapse if the current trend of bankruptcies continues? Reports show far more than the 1% who die from Covid virus from other illnesses. Medical studies in the U.S. indicate that on average the coronavirus death rate for citizens not living in nursing homes has been holding well below 1 percent. The largest percentage of deaths by far in the U.S. has been in nursing homes among elderly people with preexisting conditions.

​Other Illnesses Kill Far Greater Numbers than CoviD: Pneumonia alone kills around 50,000 Americans each year according to the CDC, and that's with vaccinations, yet, we are supposed to panic and hand over all our freedoms in the name of stopping a disease which affects a tiny percentage of the population?
Lockdowns destroy the economy: It's basic math and finance; the small business sector of the U.S. economy is dying. Any further lockdowns will be the final nail in the coffin for the U.S. economy, except for major corporations that are enjoying the lion's share of US Fed Govt stimulus cash.
State Governors or Presidential Executive Orders have no legal right to cancel our civil liberties: Restrictions based on executive order have no legal authority under the Constitution. They’re “color of law,” not law. Laws are discussed and passed by state legislatures, not by state governors. Executive orders only apply to state employees and have no bearing on the citizenry. State & Federal government powers do not supersede the Bill of Rights. No one has the legal power to take away your inherent liberties.

Mask laws are unscientific and harmful to our good health: The majority of masks being used by the public today are cloth masks. Not even the CDC recommends the use of cloth masks for their own employees or medical workers. They only recommend N95 masks. They also admit that cloth masks are much less effective at preventing contact with the virus.

Yet, the CDC supports the enforcement of cloth masks for the public. Some states and countries with the most stringent mask laws continue to see huge spikes in coronavirus infections.

For example, New York has been one of the most tyrannical enforcers of mask laws in the U.S., but in November 2020 the state witnessed large infection increases. California and Illinois have also seen infection spikes despite hard enforcement of masks. 

It’s anti-science for states to force citizens to wear masks outside in open air and sunlight when viruses cannot survive in such conditions? UV light from the sun is nature's sterilizer. Doctors report that the face masks block oxygen and there are increased incidences of facial rashes even illnesses such as pneumonia being caused by the masks. Dr Meehan here

The promises of God are of no value to us until, through obedience, we come to understand the nature of God. Isaiah 53:5; Romans 4:24-25

7-17-20, Henry Morris, PhD -- The 53rd chapter of Isaiah contains the clearest and fullest exposition of the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ for our sins to be found in all the Bible. Our text verse [Isaiah 53:5] is the central verse of this chapter, which, in turn, is the central chapter of Isaiah’s second division, chapters Isaiah 40:1, 66:24.

Although the chapter and verse divisions of the Bible were not part of the original inspired text ... they were somehow providentially guided. Part 1 of Isaiah contains 39 chapters and part 2 has 27 chapters, just as the Old and New Testaments have 39 and 27 books, respectively.

​Likewise, the major themes of the two Testaments—law and judgment in the Old, grace and salvation in the New ​—respectively dominate the two divisions of Isaiah.

​Many other correlations can be discerned—for example, the second division begins with the prophecy of John the Baptist and ends with the prophecy of the new heavens and the new earth, just as the New Testament does.

Be that as it may, this central verse of the central chapter of Isaiah’s salvation division surely displays the very heart of the gospel:

Christ was “wounded” (literally “thrust through,” as with a spear John 19:34) and “bruised” (literally bruised and beaten Mark 10:34) for our sins.

When we repent of our sin we receive  forgiveness and “peace” with God because He was chastised (i.e., “disciplined”) in our place 1 Peter 2:24 and we are forever “healed” of our lethal sin-sickness because He received the “stripes” (i.e., great welts caused by severe blows) that should have been ours. 11-7-20, JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - The parents of a Simpson County elementary school student, nine year old Lydia Booth filed suit in federal court against the school district after she was ordered to remove her “Jesus Loves Me” face mask.

According to attorneys, the district Lydia was singled out robbing her of her constitutional rights. Parents Matthew and Jennifer Booth, say the principal told Lydia to remove it and gave her another with no message on it. He then reportedly informed her the “Jesus Loves Me” mask was against district policy.

The Booths say the policy was changed to prohibit messages only after they objected to Lydia being told to remove the mask.

Tyson Langhofer of the Alliance Defending Freedom is representing Lydia and said: “When the school is discriminating against individuals who want to wear masks expressing religious beliefs but are allowing students and faculty to wear masks expressing messages with other beliefs, that’s not allowed by the First Amendment.”

11-14-20, Pastor Charles Stanley -- In a world filled with endless sources of information and opinions, believers need to develop a discerning spirit. Otherwise, how will we know what is true? Much of what we see and hear is based on a worldly perspective that is influenced by Satan, the Father of Lies [John 8:44]. Deception is found even in the religious realm: cults mix lies with enough truth to make some people consider them legitimate Christian institutions.
 
The only way born again believers [John 3:3, 7] can guard against deception is to ground themselves in God's Word. The more time you spend filling your mind with the Lord's instructions, precepts and thoughts, the more discerning we will be. However, just knowing biblical truth isn't enough. You must put what you learn into practice so that it becomes more than head knowledge; actually walk the walk.

The goal is to let God's Word become such an integral part of our thinking that it guides all our decisions. Even if the situation we're facing isn't specifically addressed in the Bible, scriptural principles provide the needed wisdom for every choice. In addition, the Holy Spirit was given to each believer as a Helper, whose job is to guide us into all the truth (John 14:26, 16:13).

However, our responsibility is to put God's Word into your mind so that He can bring it to your remembrance.

Hong Kong includes 426 square miles of territory in the South China Sea. Hong Kong was first incorporated into China in 243 BC, during the Warring States period and as the Qin state was beginning to grow in power. It remained almost constantly under Chinese control for the next 2,000 years. Today one of the most densely occupied and economically independent parts of the world and for decades was ruled by Britain.

In 1842, under British Queen Victoria's expansionist rule, Hong Kong became known as British Hong Kong. On June 9, 1898, the British brokered a ninety-nine year lease agreement for the use of Hong Kong after China lost a series of wars fought over the British trade in tea and opium. The lease came about as a result of wars over trade imbalances, opium and the shifting power of Queen Victoria's British empire.

In 1984, British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and Chinese Premier Zhao Ziyang negotiated the underlying plan for the lease to end, such that Hong Kong would remain a semi-autonomous region for a 50-year period after the lease ended. 

After the agreement, Britain began to implement a broader level of democracy in Hong Kong. The first democratic government in Hong Kong was formed in the late 1980s, consisting of functional constituencies and direct elections. While the People's Republic of China rejected the democratization of Hong Kong, the region had become enormously lucrative. Hong Kong only became a major metropolis after the British possession, and during the 150+ years of the occupation, the city had grown and thrived.

 The stability of those changes became doubtful after the Tiananmen Square incident (Beijing, China, June 3–4, 1989) when an undetermined number of protesting students were massacred. Half a million people in Hong Kong went on marches to protest.

God is sovereign over all the earth. We may wonder at the strange or even terrifying turns our lives take, but we can be certain that He is in control and at work.
